Gather your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues to watch the film while it is streaming (available free online) on the WORLD Channel’s America ReFramed until September 24, 2014.

This is an inspirational story of how one community banded together to save their land and culture. After watching the film with others, have a conversation about how people were moved by the film, how the story is  relevant to local concerns and how you can take action (see tips below).

How to Host a Watch Party

You can sign up at Reel-Power.org to host a Come Hell or High Water Watch Party and get resources to help make your event a success. Follow these six easy steps:

  1. SIGN UP to host a screening before Sept. 24 at Reel-Power.org.
  2. ACCESS THE FILM while it streams for free online through American ReFramed at http://bit.ly/TurkeyCreek. Be sure to test your connection.
  3. PLAN FOR MAX IMPACT by using this to help make your event a success.
  4. PROMOTE THE EVENT by inviting your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. You can automatically create a Facebook event, or send an email invite, once you sign up your event on our site.
  5. TAKE ACTION right after the film. Ask your audience how the film inspired each of them and encourage them to get involved locally in your current campaigns, or look to other options below.
  6. REPORT BACK Be sure to let us know how your screening went and how your group is taking action. We’ll send you a follow up email and would love to hear how things went!
