Teresa Bettis of the Center for Fair Housing said,\u00a0\u201cFor us it was a painful reminder, but it was validation, it was hope.\u201d\u00a0Other Gulf Coast communities will screen the film in partnership with the<a href=\"http:\/\/gulfcoastfund.org\/\">Gulf Coast Fund<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bridgethegulfproject.org\/blog\">Bridge the Gulf<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Rethinking Schools editor Bill Bigelow described the film as\u00a0&#8220;a saga of community, resilience, resistence and hope&#8221;\u00a0andwill soon publish an article by teacher Hardy Thames titled\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rethinkingschools.org\/\">Looking for Justice at Turkey Creek<\/a>.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Launching an independent film is a challenge, and there are many ways you can help:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Share\u00a0the film\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leahmahan.com\/films\/turkey-creek\">Website<\/a>\u00a0that includes the 1-minute trailer and the DONATE button to support the engagement campaign.<\/li>\n<li>Like\u00a0the film on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/turkeycreekfilm\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0and stay tuned to find out when\u00a0Come Hell or High Water\u00a0will come to a film festival or public television station near you.<\/li>\n<li>Donate\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1emqGF6\">online<\/a>\u00a0to the\u00a0Come Hell or High Water\u00a0engagement campaign.
